Welcome! We are a new research group in the Department of Microbiology and Molecular Genetics of Harvard Medical School.
Our newly-renovated laboratory is located on the 6th floor of the Armenise Building on the Harvard Medical School Quadrangle.

We are interested in understanding, at the molecular level, how viruses use the host cellular machinery to replicate themselves; how the interaction between virus and host leads to disease; and how the host successfully (or unsuccessfully) combats the viral infection.
Our highly interdisciplinary and dynamic group focuses on viruses that infect the liver, in particular hepatitis B virus, hepatitis C virus, and dengue virus. We employ techniques drawn from modern chemical biology and bio-organic chemistry, virology, molecular biology, and immunology.
