Yang Lab

Chih-Yun (Angela) Hsia, Ph.D.

Originally from Taipei, Taiwan, I graduated from National Taiwan University in 2010 with a BS degree in Chemical Engineering. I then moved to America to pursue my Ph.D. at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York. Under the supervision of Prof. Susan Daniel, I developed biomimetic platforms to study lipid-protein interactions within cell membranes. After completing my Ph.D., I joined Prof. Priscilla Yang’s lab in September 2016. My current project is focused on the effects of Hepatitis C infection on the cellular lipid metabolism. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling and exploring good food/music with family and friends.
