Wenlong Lian, Ph.D.

Originally from China, I got my Bachelorís degree in Chemistry from Wuhan University, China. I worked in Dr. Zhihong Liuís lab to develop the two-photon fluorescent chemosensor for homogeneous determination of Copper (II) in aqueous media and complicated biological matrix. Then I went to US to receive my Ph.D. at The Ohio State University in Dr. Dehua Peiís lab. I focused on High-throughput screening of a bicyclic peptide library against TNFa and bicyclic cell-permeable inhibitors to recognize PTP1B and other human phosphatases. I joined Yang Lab in the spring of 2016 to focus on high-throughput screening method to develop Dengue/Zika entry inhibitors.
